After almost three!

Remember when I told you I still have three pending lippies which I ordered last September? No? Here. Tadaa! It's here na. They arrived yesterday, after almost three months. Well, close to three. I've been waiting for them for so long already that I thought of going late to class just so I can get these lippies from my friend who was in a nearby Cafe during my Calculus class. Hee.

So, I ordered for Ulysses, Femme and Electra. I didn't expect Ulysses to be this dark. I thought it was on the orange-y side but obviously, it wasn't. It was brownish red. I am not fond of this color but when I tried it on it was tolerable naman pala. The thing is, it's better worn during formal occasions- most likely during the evening. It'll make you look classy but it would also make you look maturer at the same time. For femme, it's perfect for everyday use. It's kind of orangey and pinkish. The color isn't too overpowering so it won't seek too much attention on you. Electra is the bomb. It's super red, as in bloody red. It's shade of red isn't on the pink side but on the maroon eh. It's by far, my favorite red lipstick. Heee.

Overall, I am content with my orders naman. Just when I thought I have a lot of pink lipsticks, I then realized that I don't pala. They're more on the maroon-red shade, but I'm fine with that. I won't be spending too much on cosmetics anymore because I think I have already shelled out too much. Time to saaaaave!!

Zen Tea!

Zentea while thesisin' here at @maicajorge's condo at Kassel

Zentea is where i learned about Milk Tea! It was in my frosh year when I was first introduced to Milk Teas, through Tea Blends, which later on was renamed "ZenTea"

An extra larged Nai Cha (Reg Milk Tea), originally retailed at PhP 50 before. It's now priced at PhP 60 pesos and PhP 70 pesos for flavored milk tea.

I actually thought about franchasing Zen Tea/ Tea Blends long before this Milk Tea Craze all over the Metro. Thought I should share that.

Hee. Til here.

Nakakatorete

One of those sabaw moments of mine. Video of me singing my all time karaoke favorite, Torete.
Sorry for that wasted voice, I'm not a singer! I've always been known to sing out of tune. Heehee. Notice, I really do not know how to pronounce the letter "R". I'm bulol.

I also have a cover of "Magbalik" here in my phone but it's too much na for your ears. Hahaha. Idol ko si Anne Curtis, I'm sorry.

Please don't hate me after watching this. After all, this is my personal blog. I can post whatever I want. :P

Moonleaf

Hopped in at Moon Leaf Tea House Maginhawa Street, Teacher's Village to try their Milk Tea! I've been hearing quite a number of good comments regarding their drinks so I insisted trying.

I ordered Wintermelon Milk Tea and Anj ordered Caramel Milk Tea. 'Twas the first time Anj liked what he had ordered because their Milk tea didn't taste like grass daw! Haha! Their prices range from 65 for the regular Milk Tea to 75 pesos for the Tiramisu Milktea, Caramel Milk Tea, Wintermelon Milk tea and all the other varieties. An additional 10 pesos is needed for the sinkers.

They also have cookies and cakes to go with your cup of tea! Surprisingly, they also have french macaroons which they only sell for PhP 30 pesos, each.

As for the ambiance, the ambiance was nice. A very cooling, lime green and white hues consisted their interiors. At par, big for a tea shop. They have air conditioned place for non-smokers and al fresco for people who would want to stay outdoors.

They also have something like a "freedom cork board" for people who would want to promote or just express anything to the other patrons of the store.

Overall, the experience was good. I would rate the store an 8.5. By the way, they also have free wifi so the place is very suitable for those who would want to review or just chill. The place is very near to Claret and Holy Family school.

Moonleaf has also several branches all over the Metro so might as well check the nearest branch from you!

PS: Sorry I haven't taken pictures of the place because I don't have a camera with me. These were just shots from my phone. Boohoo.

My Good Morning look! I just had my hair cut yesterday at Menage salon in Gateway. I've gone from med boobie length hair to this but I still find my hair very long. I should have asked Jhong to cut it a little shorter, like shoulder-length but nevertheless, Jhong, the hairstylist styles hair really good.

Planning to dye my hair soon. Let's see!

Thank You October, Hello November!

October had been one of the toughest months I have ever encountered. It had made me realize so many things and made me revisit my values and principles. Nevertheless, I am still thankful for October for a lot of reasons.

This October...
  • I got scared, anxious, sad, and I cried.
  • I lost focus, month-long.
  • I was restless.
  • I made mistakes.
  • I was really lost.
But also, This October....
  • I realized how God truly loves me.
    • How He really wanted me to be closer with Him
    • How He cares for me.
  • I knew how several people also truly cares for me
That's why This October...
  • I promised to love God first, and myself next. Heee
    • to listen to Him, always.
    • to dedicate myself more with the Lord
    • to know Lord better than ever
    • to just be a better follower of Him.
    • to let other people know Him too!
This October had been one of the toughest but I would take those though times as lessons to ponder on. It's never too late for a new beginning.

I am sincerely praying for a better November for all of us! Good vibes all the way.

With hopes high,
Yana
